Carolyn grew up near the coast in Northern Ireland, and graduated from Chelsea School of Art, London.
She worked as a Graphic Designer in Advertising and Design agencies before bringing up her family.
Her work is varied in style and includes landscapes, seascapes and architectural subjects. Media used is mostly pen and ink, acrylic, chalk pastel, watercolour, and collage. Carolyn enjoys travel and is inspired by places she has visited, sketching on location and taking photos as reference. Her exhibitions include The Ferrers Gallery, Staunton Harold, a solo exhibition at the Sock Gallery, Loughborough, Open Exhibitions at Cank Street Gallery, Leicester and the Sock Gallery, Art This Way annual art trail, Loughborough and work is currently for sale in The Emporium at 57, Loughborough.
Carolyn has also produced personalised commissions in her Striped Collage format. These have been produced as mementoes of clients' special holidays, events or locations, using details from their photographs.
